Accessibility Statement
For visitors of the Dropcut website (dropcut.io), in accordance with Israeli Standard SI 5568 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
Our Commitment
Dropcut is committed to making its website (dropcut.io) accessible to people with disabilities, so that everyone can learn about our service and contact us with equal ease. We treat accessibility as part of the site's quality, not as an add-on.
Standard and Level of Conformance
This website is designed to conform to Israeli Standard SI 5568 ("Web Content Accessibility"), which adopts the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines at Level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013. Where practical we follow the newer WCAG 2.1 AA criteria as well.
What Has Been Done on the Site
- The site can be operated with a keyboard alone; the focus order follows the reading order and the focused element is visible.
- Headings, lists, and landmarks are marked up semantically so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Meaningful images carry text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio; the site's copper accent is used on dark backgrounds only where it passes.
- Text can be enlarged to 200 % with the browser's zoom without loss of content or function; the layout adapts to phones and tablets.
- Videos on the site are demonstrations without narration; no content flashes more than three times per second.
- Forms have visible labels and clear error messages; links describe their destination.
- The site does not use time limits or moving content that cannot be paused.
Browsers and Assistive Technology
The site is built to work in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android, with the platforms' built-in screen readers. Older browsers may not support every accessibility feature.
Known Limitations
An automated check against the WCAG 2.1 AA rule set (axe-core) was run on the home, sign-in and plans pages on September 8, 2026, and the issues it found โ contrast of small grey labels, missing form-field names on the sign-in page, missing page landmarks and a skipped heading level โ were fixed the same day. Known limitations at the time of this statement:
- A manual screen-reader walkthrough (VoiceOver, NVDA) has not yet been completed; it is planned before the next update of this statement.
- Third-party content we embed (such as hosted video players) is subject to its providers' accessibility.
We will update this statement as we resolve these.
The Dropcut Service Itself
This statement covers the public website. Dropcut's video-editing interface is provided to skydiving clubs under a separate agreement and is used by club staff in a browser. Accessibility of that interface is addressed with each club as part of the service; requests can be sent to the coordinator below.
Physical Accessibility
Dropcut provides its service online and does not operate premises that receive the public. Meetings with clubs are held at the club's premises or by video call.
